With just a couple of weeks before the 2018/19 season kicks off we’ve been reflecting on the successes of the last season and a busy summer for Sutton Coldfield RFC
June saw the return of our annual Midland 7’s competition, drawing teams from across the country to The Roger Smolden Ground
West Bridgeford Bisons championed the men’s tournament with Sutton Coldfield men finishing 3rd
The ladies competition was won by Wasps, with Sutton Coldfield ladies placed 2nd
Ruck Fest wrapped up the day, with a host of local musical talent playing live into the evening
During the day bucket shakes and a raffle took place to raise funds for ‘The Norman Laud Association’ which is a local charity who provide quality short break services for children and young adults with special needs and support services for their families.
Thank you to everyone who donated, helping to raise a total of £268.39

Without the generosity of local businesses and time given by volunteers events like this wouldn’t be possible. We would like this opportunity to thank Gregory Distribution for our Ruck Fest stage, the bands and artists who performed and all those who contributed and volunteered their time from Ruck Fest and Sutton Coldfield Rugby Club
