The old spectre of the play off has again cast its haunting shadow across the RSG. I've seen grown men cry as a result, it meant that much.

There is a huge positive though. It was probably one of the biggest gates we have ever seen at the club and one of the best games too. We wish Harrogate well in their season next year.

We are a well supported and a well regarded club. It has been a great journey this season and one we are going to continue next season. Just cast your mind back to the last time we lost a play off and what happened the year after! A stark warning for National 3 Midlands!

It really was a day when it was good to be green, despite the result.

A big thank you to everyone who turned out to support, the players and the huge throng of people who pitched in and helped out and made it a real day to remember.
