Sadly, at time of writing, it looks highly unlikely that there will be a game at SCRFC this weekend. The rain has been un-relenting and although we are desperate to play local rivals Walsall the reality is that the Roger Smoldon Ground us currently underwater.

As of lunch on Friday, we are still hoping to get the game on as there is a small dry window between 10 pm Friday and Saturday evening. We will make a call Saturday morning and communicate on all out socials.

It would be great to have a game for those at the away game V Walsall we all came away with a feeling we really should have won and that home advantage should make a difference. That said results since would probably make Walsall slight favorites.

If the men’s game is off it is highly likely the Women’s 2s will also be off and the rain is due to return on Sunday morning – but we hope and pray. On or not I am delighted that we have got to a stage where we can field a Women’s 2s, it is a testament to the coaching and management set up that we are able to do this and of course it’s a credit to the girls that turn up and train.
