Coach Andy Perry said: "One of the proudest days for our team today. A hard game where the boys had to support each other, defend like warriors and take advantage of our opportunities. In fact I believe our efficiency in their 22 may be 100%, we scored every visit. Old Leams have lost once this season and only 3 times in the last 2 years. The mental fortitude to stand up when we went to 14, on our try line and they were screaming in our faces was a highlight of the season. And to then run in 2 beautiful tries - stunning performance boys. Cup semi-finalists and no team in the county wants to face Sutton Coldfield. 20 men of the match today."
And from the parents "Watching the Sutton Coldfield U15s dig deep to secure a win against a powerhouse like Old Leams was fantastic. It was an intense, high-stakes match that required every ounce of grit the boys had to offer. As a parent, it’s a pleasure to see the team spirit and camaraderie"
"The lads have a terrific mindset, they treat every fixture as a new contest where they have to prove themselves all over again. A huge thank you to the coaches for developing such a great team. I’m fairly sure the parents' heart rates were under more strain than the players' by the final whistle :) We’re incredibly proud to see them through to the semis."
