Taking heart from last weeks performance, Sutton travelled to Coventry to play Broadstreet. A delayed start saw the visitors kick off putting the home side under pressure immediately, good play at the breakdown resulted in Sutton winning the ball and spreading it wide with a three man overlap and try number one. A second and third followed very quickly racking up a 17 point lead in the first quarter.
Strong forward play set the platform for the backs to run in several other tries giving the visiting side a comfortable 0-43 lead at the break.
Half time changes didn't diminish the quality of play for Sutton, controlling the play right from the start making the most of the windy conditions and running in another five tries. Three disqualified tries in the last ten minutes saw the game finish 0-76.
All in all, a very satisfying day at the office for the lads keeping their hosts on the back foot for the majority of the game restricting them to only one meaningful attack into the Sutton red zone.
Next week sees Sutton host Staffordshire's premier team Stoke for the seasons second serious test.
