Sutton U15's travelled to Droitwich and came away with an incredible victory against a side they had never previously beaten and who hadn't lost at home for several seasons.
From the start Droitwich piled on the pressure and only some outstanding defense kept them out but eventually the pressure told and Droitwich scored to lead 5-0. Sutton bounced straight back and centre Niall Madden crashed over, the conversion being added by Tom Bishop. Madden again scored after a powerful run to extend Suttons lead but on the stroke of half time and with Sutton deep in Droitwich territory a dropped pass enabled the Droitwich winger to race the length of the pitch to score under the posts. With the half time score at 14-12 to Sutton it was anyones game for the taking. Kairo Dodd and No 8 Tom Foulds both scored in the second half and while Droitwich threw everything at Sutton, some outstanding defense kept them out to secure a memorable win.
