Sutton came through a tough encounter in the Warwickshire cup to ensure progression to the knock-out stages. A big Nuneaton side came at Sutton from the start and it was the visitors who scored first through a driving maul after a lineout deep in Sutton territory. Sutton responded when Matty Keating scored, Tom Bishop adding the conversion to take the lead. Winger Harrison Baxter then scored close to half time after some lovely handling in the backs. With the half time score 12-5 to Sutton the game was very much in the balance, but the second half saw Sutton's skill level make the difference with some great off loads and support play as they ran in 5 tries, 2 for Adam Carey playing in the Centres, one each for winger James Mckay, centre Niall Madden and No. 8 Tom Foulds with Tom Moore adding 2 Conversions.
