Sutton shine again

A depleted Nuneaton side turned up at the RSG visibly daunted by the size of the Sutton pitch.

From the kick-off it was evident that the game was a massive mis-match. The first set piece of the day saw Harry Mitcham set Luke Reynolds free down the blindside, Nuneaton players in his wake as he galloped round and under the posts for the first points of the game, only a minute on the clock. Harry converted for the extras, 7-0.

A procession of plays saw Sutton dominate the ball the second try coming soon after the first, Luke Picking the ball at the back of the scrum and charging unopposed down the left this time, Harry duly converting, 14-0 after 5 minutes.

A hatrick try for Luke along with four for Sam Grimshaw brought the half time score to 41-0, Harry converting three of the seven.

The second half continued in the same vain as the first, Sutton racking up another 28 points in 10 minutes the scorers: Tyler Bryant (2) Jake Preece and Sam, all converted by Harry.

Both sets of coaches agreed to call it a day and mixed the two sets of lads for a training session.
