Substitute opposition Harbury U13's turned up at the RSG with a depleted side losing 13 players to Armistice parades. A mixed team made up of Sutton and Harbury players made a good start but soon capitulated as a strong Sutton XV began to find their rhythm.
Seven first half tries, thee converted made the score 41-0 to the home side when the whistle sounded for the break.
Wholesale changes saw a stronger mixed side start the second half, but still Sutton continued to run in the scores at regular intervals throughout the second period. Another five tries and two conversions completed the Sutton scoring with Harbury collecting a consolation try after some strong running set up a rare gap in the defensive line.
The final score 70-5.
Next week see Sutton visit Moseley for the return fixture, this WILL be a stronger test, with the hosts looking for retribution after their defeat at Sutton three weeks ago.
