Only their second game in ten weeks saw a rusty squad battle out a win which should have been easier considering the opposition turned up short of players.
Tries from No.8 Luke Reynolds (3), 2nd row Lewis Belton, fly half Alasdair Bell, inside centre Sam Grimshaw and a collectors item from winger Callum Aherne were complemented with conversions from Captain Harry Mitcham and Alasdair Bell.
Although rusty, the home side were in control of the game from the start. Suttons' Bradley Sprague changed strip and played for Sils putting together a good performance against his team mates completing a number of tackles and worked hard disrupting the home ball in the breakdown.
Two late try's from Sils flying wingers made the score 41-14 at the full time whistle.
With coaches and players on Greater Birmingham duties, there will be no training on Wednesday night and with Old Covs waiting in the wings for a big show down next Sunday Sutton will have to battle hard to keep their proud three year unbeaten record in tact.
See you all Sunday down the A45.
