Sutton come from behind to earn a hard fought draw and keep their unbeaten run going

Two tries and a conversion ensured Sutton's unbeaten run continued, centre Sam Grimshaw and prop Syakir Saiful crossed the whitewash with Harry Mitcham claiming the solitary conversion.

A tough Old Covs XV made it difficult for Sutton to get into their usual rhythm, disrupting the breakdown and putting massive pressure on the away sides half back pairing.

Injuries to No.8 Luke Reynolds (right leg) who didn't travel, second row Lewis Belton (back) and fly half Alasdair Bell compounded the visitors problems against a large brusing pack.

Digging deep, Sutton worked hard to preserve their proud three season unbeaten record and with Syakir being adjudged to have knocked on as he grounded the ball in the corner for a late try the visitors can genuinely feel they were ultimately unlucky not to come away with a win.

Plenty to work on in training Wednesday before the home game with the unknown Kenilworth squad the visitors.
