Good start

After training for several weeks, last season’s highly successful under 12 group moved into a new era of more contact when they entertained Wolverhampton U13’s at the RSG. On a bright Sunday morning they started well Harvey breaking through on the right passing to Reiss Roberts to go over the try line. The speed of movement from the Sutton lads saw further tries from Harvey, two more from Roberts and Fred which meant a score of 5 – 2 after the first third. The second period saw a similar scoreline, tries from Elliott (2) Roberts another two and Tom. However all morning the Wolves team stuck to their tackling well and were rewarded when the third period saw them notch three tries to Suttons two.
A very creditable performance from the Sutton side who were missing several of their squad due to injuries.
