Down but not out

A disappointing Sunday morning for the U12 squad. Over the last few years the group had developed a keen rivalry with their counterparts at Old Sils. This weekend the Solihull based club’s coaches sent their strongest squad to Sutton to compete. This they surely did, with very forceful, dynamic play, handling with assurance and being faster to the breakdown in the three games played they prevented Sutton from scoring at all. The first game was lost 5-0, but the scores got a little better 4 in the second 3 in the third.
The lads were very down after these games, their first reverses of the season, but they have the chance to bounce back when they visit Droitwich next week.
