A morning of two different halves for the under 12’s squad at Droitwich. In the first game the home side put out their strongest side and took a 3-1 half time lead. Sutton recovered to go ahead 4-3 Droitwich equalising near the end in what was a good exhibition of rugby by both sides. Once again Sutton were slow to start, being pushed back in the loose play but their quick running and precise handling caused Droitwich problems, with Reiss Roberts, Reiss Chagar, twin Sam and Ruari crossing the try line.
For the second game however, the Droitwich coach decided to take off the majority of his strongest players whilst Sutton mixed up their team during play. This led to a very one sided second game which Sutton won 12 nil with Ruari man of the match with three tries caused by his powerful running.
