Three way fixtures

Having made fixtures against Wolverhampton, the U11’s also agreed to host Burntwood on the same day @ Sutton. We then played a three way series of games as all three clubs had 2 squads. This enabled several good games of rugby and not too many players standing around in the cold wind.
In the first round of games Wolverhampton beat Sutton 2-0 whilst their “B” team lost 5-0 to Burntwood “A”.
In the second round Wolves “A” beat Burntwood “A” 2-1 whilst Sutton beat Burntwood “B” 3-0.
Sutton then made some changes to their squads before round 3 and then saw one team beat Wolves 3-1 whilst the other beat Burntwood 5-0
Finally after some players had left Sutton lost 2-3 to Wolves whilst a second Wolves side drew with Burntwood 1-1.
Overall, I think a very worthwhile experiment worth trying again next year.
