A trip worthwhile

On a bright sunny morning, we travelled to the club presently leading the division our senior side play in and came away undefeated in 6 games against Newport U11.
Both clubs had enough players to put out two teams (Sutton lending Newport one ) which enabled everyone three games each.
In game 1 Harvey (2) Austin (3) and Will notched tries as Sutton won 6-2.
Game 2 saw Reiss match his close mate with 3 tries, Sam scored another in a 4-1 victory.
Our biggest win came in game 3, Harvey another 3, Austin, Joseph, Louis, Jed and Owen each score once as we totalled 8 tries.
Game 4 was very close, but another hat trick by Reiss, 2 for Sam and one for Richie saw us win 6-4.
Tries by Jed, Reiss, Harrison Austin and saw us come from behind at half time to clinch victory in game 5, whilst Jed, Chris (2) Ben and Joseph each scored as we ran out 5-2 winners in the final game.
All in all a good morning setting up the lads for our festival next Sunday.
