Hard work but a definite hit

When Preston sought a tour fixture after some deliberation Pete accepted. When the Lancashire club advised how many players were coming in each age group, we suddenly realised that we needed help from other clubs to enable us to provide them with worthwhile games. So Old Halesonians sent U8 & U9 players, Barkers Butts sent and under 12 squad and Sils sent u10 players. It all helped make a festival type atmosphere. In our U11 group the games were all very close and competitive.
We played 5 games each of 10 minutes and it should be noted in future that if Warren is handling the substitutions role he needs pen and paper!!!
Sutton won the first game with tries from Harvey and Sam. The second we lost 2-3 Ben and Elliott being our scorers.
Austin then scored the only try in the third game, whilst we lost the fourth 0-1.
The final game - the decider, was also a very tight affair and Austin again scored the only try.
