Hat trick for Ruben

It wasn’t Ashby’s day, Sutton started strong and finished strong in all four matches played, Sutton proved themselves from the start that they were going to put their all into the matches played which paid off in the end.
There were hard tackles make by Autumn, Ben, Spencer and Ruben along with great tries from Ryan, Frankie, James, Kyle, and Archie.

First Match Result Sutton 7 Ashby 6
Ashby kick off and start the scoring with a try. Autumn gets tackled but quickly off loads the ball to James who runs to get that ball over the try line. Ruben makes a fantastic tackle that grounds Ashby, there is a turn over ball which Ryan collects and works his legs hard to make ground only to pass it back to Ruben who sets the ball over the try line. Gabriel attempts a fabulous tackle but Ashby score. Sutton’s passing of the ball is strong and after George passes to Taran, Ruben scores again. Ashby score once more making the score equal. Ruben looks fierce as he scores another try. After Autumn gets tackled and unfortunately passes the ball forwards, she doesn’t get disheartened and ploughs through three Ashby players to score a try. Ashby score another couple of tries. Gabriel scores a try followed by Ryan making the final score 7-6 to Sutton Coldfield.
Second Match Result Sutton 8 Ashby 7
Yet again Ashby start the scoring putting pressure on Sutton Ryan scores a perfect try from the half way line, then Ashby score, Ruben scores another couple along with Autumn. Hollie makes a brave attempt to tackle followed by Autumn making another tremendous tackle. Ashby score, Ryan makes another try followed by a tackle by James and Ruben, Frankie scores as a result. Some great passing from James. James has a great finish to the match by scoring another two try’s at the end. Full time score 7-8 to Sutton Coldfield.

Ashby kick off and Ben makes the first tackle followed by a knock on ball. Kyle ran the length of the pitch to score a try as does Alex M Archie make a tackle and then stands to gather the knocked on ball. Ben carries the ball the whole pitch to score. Alex M does some amazing passing to Spencer and then to, Joe, Archie scores a try from a pass from Alex D.
Second Match Result Sutton 8 Ashby 4
Ben starts the scoring off with a magnificent try running the whole pitch. There was a couple of turnover balls which Sutton used to their advantage, Kyle looking strong scoring tries from the opposition’s try line a couple of times throughout the match.
