Silhillians RUFC Rugby Festival

Sunday saw the first fixture for SCRFC U8's for this season at the Old Sils festival. With 3 sides entered SCRFC were the best represented club in the U8's section which is testament to all the good work and commitment shown by players, parents and coaches.
The standard of all teams at the festival was good and as we were lucky with the weather it encouraged some great rugby. Each team played 5 games with great skills and ability on show from all the Sutton Coldfield sides.
With no winners or losers at U8's level we don't have any trophies to show for the weekends efforts, but all 3 sides competed very well against some strong opposition.
