Earlier in the season we supported a push for MacMillan Nurses with an ice bucket challenge and raised a fantastic sum on the back of support for John Wheelwright. John was a Colt at the club and his son plays in our youth section.

Sad news came through that John had lost his fight and passed away. His funeral will be at Holy Trinity in Sutton Coldfield at 11am on Friday the 28th of November followed by Sutton Coldfield Crematorium.

As a club, our best wishes and thoughts go out to his family and friends and all who will miss John.

This week's game at home against Lichfield will have a minutes salience before kick off as a mark of respect and thanks and a collection for MacMillan will be taken. Please support this.
