Sutton blown away in 1st half but fight back to earn try bonus point.
Midlands One (West)
Bad day at the office as the 1st XV lost 60-27 at Bournbrook tonight to a clinical Bournville side who ran in 9 tries. Not all doom and gloom though as facing a 38-3 half time deficit the boys showed great character and belief in themselves to fight back in the 2nd period with 4 tries of their own and thereby claim a try bonus point. The Sutton tries were scored by Tom McNamee, Ben Bottomley, George Ord and Martin Browning; Tom McNamee also kicked a monster 1st half penalty and Alex White kicked 2 conversions. Colossus of a performance from Luke Stewart.
