Sutton Vanquished at Veseyans.

Sutton Threes went to play Veseyans 2s and lost!! In a pretty uninspired performance the home team prevailed by 37 points to 24.
The best thing about the afternoon was the weather followed by the England France game!! In a game punctuated by basic errors and brainless play few players stood out amongst the dross!!
Tries for James King, Chris Duckworth, Josh Pugh and Dean Humphreys and 2 conversions by Mark McEvoy were the highlights of an insipid performance. Other players worth highlighting were skipper Tom Foulsham, Alex Shaw, Ed Moore and Stu McGarragle who nobly filled in in a number of positions!! Vaughan Browne was also playing well until suffering an unfortunate knee injury that probably means the end of his season and Saturday afternoon shopping with the better half!!
Veseyans scored several decently worked tries in the second half albeit against a team of green shadows that he black shirts ran through with ease!
