Sutton welcomed Barker Butts 3s back to the RSG on Friday night . We know they are a very physical side with a solid set piece.
The game kicked off with Sutton looking powerful and dominating the first 20 minutes, early runs from JJ and Will seen Harry Bamber over the try line in the first 11 a minutes.

Sutton’s attack didn’t slow down there, with Will at 12, crashing over the try line for well worked try.
Barker Butts not wanting to go down without a fight, came back strong. They used the space on the pitch well and moved the ball around to see their first try after 22 minutes.
Following some scrappy play, Sutton seemed to be camped in their 22, with an impressive defensive effort from Ollie and Botters. Unfortunately this wasn’t enough to hold off BB and they scored before the break under the posts.

After regrouping, Sutton went out fighting. With the powerful subs within the front row and fresh legs in the backs, Sutton absolutely dominated at the set piece. Patiently waiting, at the 51 minutes Will crashed over the try line for his second try of the game.
Sutton continued to work hard around the pitch, with Banko distributing the ball quickly and a string of solids runs from Vaughan and Lee. It was Pricey who earnt his first try of the game taking a quick tap penalty and stepping the defence to score in the corner.
Once again, BB came back fighting. After a few silly penalties, BB score at the 70 minute.
The final 10minutes was a true display of heart from Sutton. Camped out on the try line, their defensive remained solid. Dominate tackles from fubs and Bamber seen Sutton keeping BB at bay.
