Sunday afternoon saw Sutton go to Bournville in the NMCL Division 2 game. 5 first half tries saw Sutton lead 5-33 at halftime. Tries for Austin Nevitt x2, Tadgh Parise, Lasha Asatiani-Kalandadze and Sam Mortimer. 4 of these were also converted by Sam Mortimer.
Unfortunately, 7 minutes into the second half, Bournville suffered their sixth injury of the afternoon and had run out of subs. As a result they asked the referee to abandon the game with no further score.
Final score therefore 5-33 to Sutton who remain unbeaten this season with maximum points from 4 games. Sutton sit top of the division, 2 points clear of the second placed team. Next week sees Walsall visit the RSG for a 2pm kickoff.
