The first round of the North Midlands Cup match which was played in blustery conditions did not deter a Sutton team from dominating a battling Birmingham and Solihull side. Sutton’s superiority enabled them to run in a total of 12 tries, half of which were converted.
Bees response of 3 tries was all but a consolation as Sutton dominated in all departments.
Will Poland scored 5 tries, Will Preece 2 and 1 try apiece from Eddie Chitnis, Matt Green, Justin Hurlock, Kieran Henderson and Captain, Declan Mee. Chitnis converted 5 and Mee 1.
