Under 15's Prepare For Cup Fixture With Convincing Win

The whole of Sutton’s squad was involved in today’s game and it was a match of mixed fortunes. The first half saw Sutton dominate from the start. Sutton looked impressive in all departments as they ran in 8 tries with Coventrians replying with only 1.
As the second half unfolded and a number of changes were made, Sutton started slowly and soon found themselves under pressure. Coventrians went on to score 2 tries but Sutton were able to soak up the pressure but responded with two tries of their own.
Will Poland and Declan Mee had an excellent game, running in 4 and 2 tries respectively. Sutton’s other scorers were, Matt Green, Will Preece, Lamaar Lawrence and Ollie Mills. Eddie Chitnis converted 5 of Sutton’s 10 tries.
Next week see Sutton venture into the next round on the Midlands cup against a potentially strong Hereford side. Sutton will want a positive result on home soil as they were comprehensively beaten in difficult conditions at Hereford in the same competition last year.
