Sutton continued their winning ways with a keenly contested match in very blustery conditions against Market Harborough.
Sutton began brightly and within 5 minutes, aided by excellent support play, Chitnis scored a try and duly converted to lead 7 – 0. The home side contested well and proved a match for Sutton. However, with too many handling errors from Sutton, it remained 7 – 0 at half time.
The 2nd half brought in changes from both sides. Sutton became offensively more secure and were able to run in a total of 5 second half try’s with Market Harborough responding with two of their own. Scorers for Sutton were; Lamaar Lawrence 3, Will Poland 1 and Will Preece 1, resulting in a 36 – 14 victory for Sutton.
