Kidderminster Carolians RFC 0 - Sutton Coldfield RFC 54
Sutton’s winning ways continued with an emphatic victory over Kidderminster Carolians.
Sutton began the first half strongly and within 5 minutes were 7 – 0 up courtesy of Chitnis converting his own try. The remainder of the half saw Sutton controlling the majority of the play enabling Lamaar Lawrence to run in a hat trick of tries, Chitnis converting two of them to lead at half time 26 – 0.
The second half brought on a number of changes and even though it wasn’t the most fluid rugby Sutton are capable of producing, they were able to run in another 4 unanswered tries courtesy of Kieran Henderson, Justin Hurlock, Matt Price and Lamaar getting his 4th of the afternoon. Chitnis converted all of Sutton’s 2nd half tries, completing a 54 – 0 victory.
Throughout the match a number of Sutton players put in some good performances namely Ollie Madden , Ollie Mills and relative newcomers Ollie Kirkham, Ben Garretty and Tom Bloor.
