On Sunday we welcomed Broad Street to the RM ground and a very competitive fixture it was. The Coventry side bought one squad whose strength was undoubtedly their rucking, but they also had some very strong runners. Sutton had the equivalent of two squads which they mixed up over the three games played.
In the first game Broad Street were very much the better side running out winners by 5-0.
From our point of view, the second game was the best of the morning Harvey, Elliott (2) and Reiss scored tries as we won 4-2.
It was to Broad Streets credit that they were still going strong for the third game which they won 5-2 Austin and Louis going over the try line in this game
